Got my Twitter account back! I also wiped out that woman’s name, wiped her profile pic and all that adult crud from it. Now I’m cleaning up the stuff she/he followed for that spamming content from my account. It’s now safe to follow @Artbyshelah now. I did keep the name she used (instead of seasonswayart which it was originally) because it IS the business name I use now.
Frustrated and unhappy that my twitter account for this was taken over, renamed, re-emailed and re-passworded. I had it all set to feed to it so I know that it’s going to @artbyshelah on twitter, but it was seasonswayart, an account I had for ages and only started truly using with my coloring book stuff. It now has some other woman’s name, my artbyshelah domain as a name, and risque photos. I apologize for the content for anyone who was following it that was my friend. I’m not sure if twitter can or will take care of it, but I’m trying to get that sorted out. I’m having this now feed to my other twitter account.
If you check it out, you will notice that I publish my books via CreateSpace. I also have a pdf version available on Etsy. One of the complaints artists hear is that the paper is too thin. The paper is 60lb medium white and actually colors very well. It’s not too thin. Most of us print our books single-sided, so a blotter page behind it will be fine. To see what can be achieved on CreateSpace coloring book paper versus card stock paper, check out this video by Absurd Reviews.

I thought this tutorial was a lot of fun. It takes a page and gives it an additional bit of oomp. Chie Douglas illustrates how to make beautiful bubbles that decorate over an image on the page.
In other coloring book news, I love this book and I’m so glad to see it’s out now. I wanted to share it with everyone. I’ve seen the designs and I love them. The Look Inside isn’t up yet, but will be soon. All kinds of creatures from the animal kingdom can be found in here, including some exotic ones, doodled to perfection.
This week has been brought to you by dragons and fairy cats!
In honor of giving thanks, as November brings to mind, I have also dropped the price on my digital version of “Weirdlings & Wildlings” by 2 dollars! Great discount for my fans.
Things are moving along nicely for the next book, “Weirdlings & Wildlings Vol. 2” which should release this month. I’ve also been focusing energy on releasing pages on Etsy.
Here are some of the new pages you can find on Etsy now. You can find fairies, fairy cats, and oddball releases from October and November here. More art will be made available this month, so watch here or favorite my etsy site.
